On the morning of 28 February, Mr. Tran Minh, Chairman of Vietnam Union, and Mr. Libor Vacek, Chairman of the Czech mining technology association CDT, visited and worked with Phonesack Group, one of the leading companies in Laos in energy and mining. Receiving the delegation on the side of Phonesack Group were:
- Mr. Phonesack Vilaysack – Chairman of Phonesack Group,
- Mr. Sonexay Silaphet – Chief Executive Officer,
- Mr. Phouthaxay Sivilay – Advisor to Phonesack Group, Governor of the Bank of Laos.
The two sides exchanged views on cooperation opportunities in investment and mining, as well as development potential in Laos. Mr. Phonesack Vilaysack and Mr. Libor Vacek both expressed their wish to cooperate and develop together in the future.

Throughout the trip, the delegation received the warm reception and full support of Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Economic Counsellor at the Embassy of Vietnam in Laos.
Mr. Tran Thanh Hai and his wife share a warm dinner with Mr. Tran Minh and Mr. Libor Vacek, bidding farewell to the delegation before its return to Vietnam.
